I have changed in so many ways in the last three or four years.
My life has changed SO much.
I could have easily got sucked into going a different direction, and who knows where I would have ended up.
Who knows if I would have the friends I have today. Who knows where I would be, what I’d be doing, or if I’d be happy.
But I chose the path that I took for a reason, and I’m so glad that I did.
Like someone I love said to me today, “This is our year.”
It really is, I can feel it.
For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m in control.
I feel like I’m where I’m supposed to be, doing what I’m supposed to be doing, even if it isn’t much. This isn’t where I’m ending, this is just a stepping stone.
But a stepping stone in the right direction.
For the first time in my life, I’m excited for the future.
